The players with options, that used to start at $0.05M, are now $0.25M. That is absolutely ridiculous!March 28, 2015 at 09:42PM View BBCode
I think it is something that is being tested as part of this:March 28, 2015 at 10:01PM View BBCode
No league would ever use those settings...why test with something unrealistic?March 28, 2015 at 10:41PM View BBCode
Lots of players in pay salary leagues have complained that they don't have fair access to the $.05M so this is a compromise proposal, and I think quite realistic. Just as I was leaving the AML a proposal I had spearheaded to not count the salaries of players in the minors with options against the cap was being instituted, not sure if/how it worked out but that's the real solution.March 28, 2015 at 11:26PM View BBCode
That $0.25 minimum salary is too high. I can't see any league adopting it.March 28, 2015 at 11:41PM View BBCode
I am not in a regular salary league but I think I agree with TwoRoosters, if you are going for realism then this would be closer than picking up $0.05 stiffs to fill a roster requirement.March 28, 2015 at 11:42PM View BBCode
Oh yeah, it was the KBL .........the AML was a whole different kettle of fish.March 28, 2015 at 11:44PM View BBCode
Raising the cap is fine but guys are just going to use that extra $5M to bid on free agents, the idea of minor league salaries counting against the cap is just wrong and should be able to be monitored by ABE.Pages: 1
