How does expansion work?

Ok I`m new to expansion but play in several leagues. How long will we keep our team. It looks like it will end in a couple seasons and players will be re directed to new teams. Hope I`m wrong. Need some educating. Thanks

I'm not aware of the TCL ending anytime soon. Leagues end when there are not enough owners to fill the 16 teams for a prolonged period of time. As for the team, you keep it as long as you pay for it. If I am wrong, someone feel free to correct me.
