Stephen Pierson Joins 3,000 Hit Club

NY Highlander rightfielder Stephen Pierson joined the 3,000 hit club with a 3-5 performance during the Highlander's loss to the Tampa Bay Batfish. Pierson's 7th inning single to lead off the inning was #3,000. Earlier in the week, Pierson moved into 20th place all-time in runs scored; he's now just behind fellow Highlanders Greg Alberson and Guido Stine with 1,798 for his career.
