-33 CPs for a 28 y/o RB

My RB sustained a "severe concussion" last season. Is that why lost so many CPs? It seems a bit drastic. Just wondering if that's right...he has 55 health and a great attitude so why the big loss in physical attributes? Maybe if he got his eggs scrambled he might lose in execution but why does speed and carry take such a big hit?

It's the second concussion he has sustained in his career plus he missed some games and he's near that age "30" so it probably had something to do with that but I'm not sure

Not sure about the injury, but RBs can fade early.

RBs decline early and hard. always have. probably should.

I guess I've been lucky then because I haven't seen a one season drop like that before.

It's usually a bit more gradual. But hard declines aren't unrealistic at that position.

I haven't looked at these numbers in ages but based on what I just saw from my two beta teams it appears pointless to train anyone over 24 in anything but conditioning, which seems just silly.

Declines related to injury are not yet implemented. But each player declines at a different age; some players can declines as a player up to to years older than their actual age. So some players just fade early. With RBs this can be brutal because they already start declining early.

I just looked him up, though, and he is on a normal decline curve... I think he just got on the wrong end of some random numbers.

I agree to an extent but not at 28 and the amount of carries the player has should factor in to the decline. I can see 29 years old with a fair amount of carries throughout his career but 28 and with the amount of carries this players has had I think it's a bit much of a decline.

I'll warn against injuries ever factoring in to a demise of a player I have played in league like this and the turnover rate when a young franchise player gets injured and declines is very demoralizing for an owner. If it ever is implemented it should be an option the league decides matter of fact the leagues should have the ability to decide on how they want there league to be for every change.

I've experienced some nasty declines with several running backs at an early age as well. And in other cases I've been pretty lucky at the other end with slower declines.

I like to condition them day in/out because any other drill just does not get me any results after 24 yrs.

And please don't let injuries be a factor in this. It will make plenty of guys very unhappy. I comish 2 pay leagues and we joke a lot about injuries but no one is happy. Just take into account how we take it when 2 - 5 players go down an how we feel? Adding declines as a factor ouch.... Just an opinion.
