GIVEN: My RP will be out with Injury 'til Game #152.
A SP can be sent down, because he still has 2 yrs. of Options.
IDEA: I cud do this & recall my 35 yr. olde vet RP. A Long Reliever cud cover in the rotation, admirably until Game #152. @ #152, I wud recall the SP & send down the 35 yr. olde vet RP, while re-instating the healed RP.
QUESTION: Wud the SP who I sent down (temporarily) still be eligible for post-season play???

he would be eligible, because he was on your roster prior to the deadline. whether he was in the majors or minors has no bearing.

You could rest him at game #152 and not risk losing him to a waiver claim.Pages: 1
