Eddie Cicotte tosses another one-hitter

Once again, Eddie Cicotte gave up the only hit of the game in the first inning while shutting down the Kansas City Athletics, 3-0. Jesse Fisher came on in the 9th to get the final three outs after Cicotte was pinch hit for in the bottom of the 8th of what had been a scoreless tie.

Cicotte walked two and struck out six in this one.
