First, the playoffs will be run for all beta leagues tomorrow night. I will leave the results up on the site until Monday night, just to give people a chance to see the results.
On Monday night, I'll be clearing out the beta database. I will keep your usernames and password information intact. Starting Monday night/Tuesday morning, come back to the beta site and register for a team using your existing beta username and password. I'll be only doing one league going forward.
I'll also be removing the league specific message boards, since there will only be one beta league going forward. I'll leave one board for this. Also, I'm going to make the beta message boards visible to only beta testers.
The league play and draft will start sometime next week. I'll start the league off at 3 games a day, until I have a significant number of off-season enhancemens. Then I'll probably speed things through the end of the season. The number of games played each day will vary at times, so its best to check back here to see the latest plan.
The idea here is that I'm going to continue developing on the beta site for multi-season capability and other enhancements. I don't want to adjust the live site while the season is going on. So you'll see the latest & greatest on the beta site.
What's in it for you? Latest access to new features, plus a chance to play in a free multi-season league. At least for a while ;)
