It's bad enough the rebuilding is interminable in 3 GPD leagues - I'm really just marking time until the next draft. But then this happens in game 1:

4/1/1994 John Stowell of the Milwaukee Socialists is injured and is expected to be out 35 days.

Well, I can't act too surprised, since he's C- health - you have to expect an injury here or there. But 35 days at OS24 bites the big one.

Looks like he's turned the corner and is now quickly approaching the Mendoza line.
