After his first meeting with the shrink Roesler pitched 5.1 innings of 3 hit ball giving up 0 runs to get his first win against the Pirates. With continued sessions with the shrink the Hookers are hoping that Roesler can keep his focus.cptcigar

I am not sure what to do with him. He just hasn't pitched anywhere close to his skill set.cptcigar

I would still expect him to pitch much better though now that he is a reliever (small sample size too), I would not blame it all on his role the last few years, but that is a major fact now that he is fully developed...

Even if he was low in his grade you would expect much better results, the only thing I can think of is that he had been a reliever starting, so when he gets tired he is pitching with much lower grades, and that can impact his numbers greatly.I would still expect him to pitch much better though now that he is a reliever (small sample size too), I would not blame it all on his role the last few years, but that is a major fact now that he is fully developed...

Well so much for the RP theory....Roesler should nicknamed Gene "the shelled" Roesler. Not sure how his ratings equal his stats.cptcigar
