The opposing pitcher Ferguson Jenkins, went 9 innings and pitched a no-hitter. He struck out 8 batters and walked 2. There were no wild pitches and no errors.
My pitcher named Victor Dykhoff, turned out to be the hard luck loser. He pitched 9 innings, gave up 2 hits (back to back singles in the 5th) which counted for the games only run (it was an earned run). He struck out 12 batters, but did not walk anyone. There were no wild pitches and no errors on my side.

He went 9 IP, 6 SO, 6 BB, and nobody got a single hit off him. ;)
