best performance in a loss

was just struggling to find this game in my Saved Games list because I completely forgot it was a losing effort, was only looking at the wins. My leadoff man went 7-for-7 with a HR, two triples, a double, and 3 singles (irrelevant, but one to right, one to left, one bunt). He scored the 1st run of the game to give us the lead, tied the game in the 8th with a 2-out triple, and gave us the lead again with a 2-out RBI single in the 13th, but it wasn't enough, we lost 10-9. He did have one minus defensive play, which did not lead to any damage.

anyone have any similar experiences, or also, anyone ever go 8-for-8?

Off the top of my head I do remember two losses where my pitchers held shutouts beyond the 9th inning. The most recent was a 22 year old rookie pitching his second start. He went 10.1 shutout innings before being pulled and the game was lost.

I saved this game http://simdynasty.com/boxscore.jsp?boxscoreid=26356224 because Beeler had the best game I've seen. A blow out win, but still.

interesting that that actually turned out to be Beeler's worst season.
