Player Name Changes

I am addressing this, as this is the first time our league has encountered this issue. We have not had new owners change almost the entire names of the players on their roster. Since we had no previous rule, I am just going to state my issues and leave this open for discussion.
With the way this league tracks in detail, player records, all-conference teams, awards, etc., that other leagues do not track in such detail, changing an abundance of current player names is going to make it very difficult and even more time consuming to track said unique items and preserve league continuity.
Now I do not have a problem with what you do change your player names to. I could care less if you named your players Charles Xavier or Rumple Stiltskin.
What I do ask (and what I do follow with my team), is that you only change the the names of rookies (drafted, undrafted, traded for, etc.). Personally, I never change the name of any player that has already played their rookie season.
Hopefully, Hodor and brokehiselbows, you are not offended by this post, nor was it meant as a personal attack or for a reason to control the league using my Commissioner power.
I am very glad that both of you have joined this league, and I not calling you out. Just trying to prevent an outbreak that causes the unique things I do on my own personal time to make this league fun and more competitive, cease to exist.
Respectfully, I ask that you revert any players names on your roster that are in their second season or more, back to their original names. You can do this very easily by clicking on the player "change name" link and then clicking the "revert player back to original name" link.

Not offended at all.
I tried to "avoid" this by changing only the names of the 25 y.o. or younger players, but I undertstand if there's a problem with that too.

I guess it won't hurt if the players have had minimal career playing time or have not accrued any minutes in their career, regardless of rookie status.

I think its a good idea to only change rookies too. This is not a big deal and whats done is done.. but maybe it should be written in the rules for the future.

I can sure change 'em back, no sweat. I change the names in order to help me track the players easier, as the names I select are right there in my memory banks. I'm still new at this and I don't know how to distinguish which are rookies and which are multi-season players. If you can tell me how to figure that out, I will gladly make the changes as soon as possible.

When you click on a player name, take a look at their Drafted Year which is under Age. Anybody drafted in 1978,1977,or 1976 you can leave to what you changed the name to, to avoid having to do too much work on your part. Hodor is aware of the years as well.
Anybody drafted in 1975 or prior, please click on the Change Name link and then click Revert this player to his original name ().
For the future, I will draft up something and pin it to the top of the TDFL message board to state that only rookies are allowed to have their names changed.

Okay then, glad we got that straightened out! This should give the competition an edge, since now I don't know who my players are, lol! Bunch of old guys anyway- looks like it's time to start rebuilding this team.......

The system actually has the ability to enforce this; I have configured the league to do so.
