Basic Strategy

When setting the basic strategy for offense and defense in the yellow, green, red zones, and 2 minute drill is there a ratio that generally works better?

The default settings for basic strategy are 50/50 (run more/pass more; run stop/pass stop).

I tend to run more in the red zone and goal line, and defend the run more in red zone and goal line, but otherwise I don't alter my approach drastically based on field position.

I hate throwing ints in scoring range.

it really depends on personal philosophy. I know guys who win a lot throwing it 80% of the time, guys who win running it more often and guys who win with a balanced attack. I also know guys who lose a lot doing all three. there is no single right or wrong combination.

Is the game programmed in such a way that fumbles are less common than interceptions?

A took a quick look at the team stats in the league I'm in and it seems there are more passing interceptions than rushing fumbles, but it's not a huge margin. and there are more passing attempts than rushing attempts, again a small margin. But Passing yardage to rushing yardage is about double.

After a long drive and you finally reach the red zone, if your team is tired, they will be prone to mistakes (INTs, fumbles, penalties, etc...)
Adjust your sub-in/sub-out at every position so that player stamina never gets too low.

Fulla, what is considered too low? 70%? 80%?
