KC's 11th conscutive playoff appearance ties them with STL and MTL for the LDL record. KC passed the Windjammers for the all-time active franchise winning %(.570). KC tied SF with their 14th World Series appearance and tied CHI(NL) wih their 12th MVP. Windjammers are only team to win more than 2 consecutive WS(6).Bob Wheeler SS(CHI-AL) tied a single season record with 47 errors(Julian Javier,then STL, now MTL-1964). Rafael Kiely set CLE franchise records with 35 HR and 126 RBI. 3 KC pitchers are in the top 75 all-time WINS leaders(Reilley,Butler,Matthews) and no one else active on any team. Only 3 active players in top 100 all time hits(Tierney-3rd,Gonzalez-40th, Ozzie-80th). Tierney needs 80 GP to become 4th player with 3000 and 14 R to become the 7th player with 2000.Pages: 1
