I am lookin for some advice here. In my Gehrig league I am totally rebuilding. I am loaded with youngsters. Thats all I have. What age do you say OK thats it your services are no longer needed? The problem with to much youth is there are only so many positions and so many coach points. For example I have tons of pitching many B/B/C guys at 25. For two of them thats even after a couple of seasons in the bigs. I plan to start trading now for what I need but with the younger guys just not sure who will blossom. I take it the LGL has been around awhile, judging from the amount of posts. A B/C guy at 25 is pretty much useless in a league that is as old as LGL. I would cut them away for more room. I would suggest picking 5 guys in your minors that you really want to work on, dump the rest for vets on WW or trade the rest for one vet. The more you surround the one you want to improve in the minors, with older vets, the better the chances the improves will go to your young-ones. At 23-26 you get better improves playing in the majors then you would in minors, 21-22 is about even, 17-20 you get more improves in minors then majors. So your B/C pitcher will get low improve chances in minors. If you can't use in majors now, then trade or switch for useable vet on WW.Pages: 1
