John Brown retired from an 18 year, 2,748 game Chicago career after 2017. Drafted #1 overall by the Chicago Spectres in 1996, collected 3,319 hits and, as a Kaboom, became the 4th member of the Willie Mays League 500/500 Club. Three-time MVP, 13 time All Star, 4 time Series Champ (none with the Kabooms, of course...), A+ Mentor, and all-around Class Act.
