I do see a few plays here and there in the direction of "pass was tipped away by (defender)".
Why are all of these tipped balls hitting dirt?
Are any of the interceptions that are caught in the game a direct result of a tipped pass that may not be getting mentioned?

In some cases in a football pass situation a tipped ball is in danger of being intercepted.I do see a few plays here and there in the direction of "pass was tipped away by (defender)".

But no. That doesn't happen.
Still, I know the next time I'll read it, I'll be scared that that will be the first intercepted tipped pass ever in SD.

Every single time I read that "tipped away" message I'm convinced the next line will be "the pass is intercepted by".But no. That doesn't happen.
