I am curious as to how the issue with Brooklyn's players and the CPs... considering that a new owner will probably take over the team believing that Mickey Hughes will be one of his own prospects.

I u2u'd Admin (at robot's behest - he had u2u'd Admin to quit the league and he said that he told them there was a prospect that belonged to the Dodgers) but haven't heard back yet.
Has anybody seen this sort of thing happen before?
I am going to miss the Robot, he made things interesting!

Would I get McGlothin back too (since he was the asset that got the two seasons of cp's originally)?I u2u'd Admin (at robot's behest - he had u2u'd Admin to quit the league and he said that he told them there was a prospect that belonged to the Dodgers) but haven't heard back yet.
Has anybody seen this sort of thing happen before?
I am going to miss the Robot, he made things interesting!

I've seen owners suddenly quit. I'm in a league now where both owners that were in the WS a couple of years ago suddenly disappeared about half way through last season and were replaced quite quickly. Both teams wound up back in the WS and currently lead their leagues. However, neither team had CP issues like this case presents.
I did see something like this in the JJL some time back. An owner had agreed to a CP trade for 2 years then went inactive and lost his team. I left at the end of the season, so I don't know how it was resolved.

So the new owner does not inherit a mess, I would be willing to assume KC's obligation of the remaining on outstanding CPs, in exchange for McGlothen.

Apparently being away for most of the past few days caused me to miss out on this little meltdown. The TRL is rigged and it took a real analytical genius like Robot to notice it; how could we all be so naive?

Actually I am in a league with no CPs, and the development system there works better than the CP one I think, You limit development by using CPS, since only those with CPS get enough chances.
In real life, if you had six first round talents, two would not be hindered in their development by the other four. Here they are.
But these are the rules we signed up for. And I am not in favor of changing any on them, even the ones I think need improvement.
