I have my settings set up to NEVER have my pitcher replaced if he's throwing a no hitter? So, what does ABE do? Replace him with a pinch runner after he hits a double in the bottom of the 7th, despite him having a no hitter.
Not cool. Probably Mr. Smith's last real chance to have a no hitter too. :( Reporting this one.

is it the rule you are talking about ? because if it's the one, your pitcher was protected from being taken out of the game only in the 9th inning

If it is a save situation in the 9th inning or later*, Bring in the designated closer unless SP has a no hitteris it the rule you are talking about ? because if it's the one, your pitcher was protected from being taken out of the game only in the 9th inning

And my closer prefs are set to say "bring in closer unless SP has a shut out." in the 9th or later. Smith was pulled after hitting a double in the 7th.
