DL & Depth Chart

Moovolong made a change so that players on the DL show up on the Major League side of the page with the DL Image next to their name.

Since the season's over, why don't you go in and cripple everyone with D or less health so we can check it out? :)

I'll give a 10 day injury to any player named Chris :)

Looks good. The tooltip for it says "On DL"; could it perhaps also include the return date?

Hmm... I was allowed to remove a player from the DL right away. I may be misunderstanding it, but shouldn't I not be able to do that until his return date comes up?

Can you this for the ST as well? I have a guy named Jim who is healthy so it hadn't been done yet

I put a few guys named Jim (and one named Tom Johnson) on the DL, they are listed on the minor league side of the depth chart. From the depth chart I was able to promote them to the major league team, then I put them back on the DL.

I'm going to top this so I don't forget to fix it next week.

I just tried to disable list an injured player and he ended up getting designated for assignment....is that what was supposed to happen?

Did you disable him or just try to send him to the minors?

I got Chris's bug fixed. Working on ME's issue - which I believe happens when you have a guy in the minors and try to put him on the DL. I don't think you should be allowed to do that (not that its bad, but if he's already in the minors, there isn't a need to put him on the DL).

I have updated the OffSeason code so that any players on the DL when the OffSeason runs will get moved back to the major league team.

I just realized that I should try to put injured Danny Bennett onto the DL. I had already dropped him in the minors. When I went to the GM - Disabled List I saw error messages. I could not attempt to do anything. I decided to try to move him to the majors, so I did so, moving Willie Singleton to the minors. I still saw error messages at the GM-Disabled List. I decided to swap Willie Singleton back to the majors, but then he was GONE! Without warning he was put on Options -we really need a warning before this happens when we are attempting to put them in the minors.

The background color when you drop him will let you know that he will be put on waivers. Moovolong is working on a change to the depth chart coloring for this.

What were the error messages? I'll try to replicate this if I can.

I don't remember the error messages. Next time I'll have to make a note.

I just got Willie Singleton back from waivers after putting in a claim for him. He was put onto my Majors roster, and was put on the top of the list for Starting Pitchers. I did not want him in as a starter, so I wish it hadn't put him there. I really wanted him in the minors, but I guess I don't have that option anymore unless nobody claims him while he is on the Options wire. I assume that I can put him in the minors if I can claim him after he goes onto waivers (if nobody else claims him.)

This certainly adds to the challenge of juggling a roster of old players. I can't just bounce them up and down between the Majors and minors anymore.

Here is the error message that I get when clicking on GM - Disabled List:

oops, a typo. Okay, I changed it. I was attempting to make it so only guys in the Majors could be put on the DL. It should work that way now.
