At only 28 years of age, Best's record breaking steal marked his 400th career stolen base. This puts him as 48th on the all-time list and only 264 shy of Guy Guzman's all-time mark of 664. Best certainly could make a run at the all-time record.

With 8 games left in the season, Steve Best has set the single season record for stolen bases with 67. Best has stolen 3 bases in each of the last two games to top the mark.At only 28 years of age, Best's record breaking steal marked his 400th career stolen base. Nice. I thought my guy Grimes was a stud with his 44 this season and 38 or more for the last 11 seasons for a total of 512. Not sure how much he has left in the tank, but at 34 still think he has some good seasons in front of him.Pages: 1
