ON my depth chart, I have a few players with circles, rather than squares.February 19, 2013 at 01:26AM View BBCode
It looks like this is the case with any A- or higher player who is out of options. I believe they put it in last offseason. It's a bit limiting when you have an older guy you'd like to demote...but we might still be able to waive A- players from the "Promote/Waive" tab in the GM menu.February 19, 2013 at 03:45AM View BBCode
Yeah, there's actually been a rule that you can't demote A- or above players... and that you can't waive B+ or above players. The admins made it impossible to demote A- players this past offseason.February 19, 2013 at 01:53PM View BBCode

That's about as plausible of an answer as any I can think of...February 20, 2013 at 02:19PM View BBCode
Maybe it's an "anti-tanking" rule. It would prevent a team from benching its good players when they're out of contention in order to drop in the standings to get a better draft position.February 20, 2013 at 06:35PM View BBCode
i think that is close to the answer. i remember a few teams over the years get P.O. 'ed and just drop all their good players. pick up players off the waiver wire. but what happens is other teams pick up the good players and that upsets the league by giving players to other teams.Pages: 1
