Having one of the final four picks in the draft gives you the best offense and the best winning percentage. Having a top four pick gives you the best pitching. Drafting in one of the middle positions (5-12) puts you at a significant handicap â?? those teams gave up the most runs and scored the fewest. As you would expect, they also had the lowest winning percentage. The chart below gives some details.
