Since it is a 32 team league should there be higher pay rates for the top players, or you could skew the larger league to have better players to accommodate the need for more salary cap.
This also goes with another question that it appears to me that there has been a slight decrease in the overall talent level in the free leagues. Not for the top players so much as for the 2nd and 3rd round picks. They appear to me to go to league minimum quite quickly.
You may have discussed this in one of the threads that I have not read, and if so if you would direct me there I would appreciate it.

When the 1961 draft was held no one was over by much and most were under by 30k or more.Since it is a 32 team league should there be higher pay rates for the top players, or you could skew the larger league to have better players to accommodate the need for more salary cap.

Something else that I was noticing is that the stamina of the players seams lower that before. For example in the RWFL it is not until the 54th LB that there is a single stamina above a B. There are only 4 B+ or better in the top 40 of the DT, none at all in the DE. Why are the defensive front 7 so out of shape?

For the Salary Cap, the numbers will be adjusted eventually, its just not on the top of the board.

Yes, salaries in general are low. I am probably going to abandon the formulas I have now and simply plug in tables of actual NFL salaries and the top player will get the top salary, the next top will get the next salary, etc., with adjustments by league size.Chris

I honestly would prefer a formula, rather that set numbers, because then it takes away from Attitude.

Or, more likely, I would calculate it both ways and go with the higher of the two numbers.
The problem with my formula is that, to come close to reality, I have to use an arctangent curve formula . The center of the curve has to be calculated individually for each position in each league, and the top is represented by the top player rather than a fixed point. So if the top player at a position is far better than everyone else, it has the effect of depressing everyone's salaries.
