Rookie wets himself in the Series

Well, maybe it's not remarkable, but I do always enjoy it when the codebits exhibit human-like behavior. For instance: Tris Bryant of the HGL Minnesota Swedes. Came up as an A+/C+ SP at OS23. Did nicely (27 appearances, 5 starts, 59.1 IP and a 3.03 ERA) in limited duty. Pitched two scoreless innings in one ALCS game.

In the World Series: two games, 0-1, 0.1 IP, 5 hits, 4 walks, 6 earned runs for a 162.0 ERA.

I have to hope he turns out like Verlander, who was 17-9 with a 3.63 ERA in his rookie season... and 1-2, 5.81 in the playoffs.

Two seasons later - still A+/C+, but with 7 velocity ICs and 3 control ICs under his belt, the kid spot starts and wins a must-win game 6. He's ain't Verlander, but he does throw some heat...
