Is it just me, or was our draft pool cloned from a league thin on pitching this time around? I guess it's just the same since we're all in the same boat, but when I first looked at my roster I thought, "Yikes, we may not be able to get anyone out this term!" :)

You are welcome! I guess the thing that bothered me most about trial leagues is the rookie drafts, It seems to me 99% of them will never get out of the minors. I wish there would be more impact players in the 1951 & 1952 drafts.

Plus there's a different problem we often see - trades where a newbie acquires a 1st round pick for a useful player, perhaps being taken advantage of in not knowing the pick is useless.

The 1951 and 1952 drafts are absolutely another annoyance. I can understand why they should be uniform with what you would get in any dynasty league draft, but in a perfect world they'd be a little juiced-up in trial leagues, knowing they only have 2 years tops to develop from where they are.Plus there's a different problem we often see - trades where a newbie acquires a 1st round pick for a useful player, perhaps being taken advantage of in not knowing the pick is useless.
