Zeta AFC East - The Group of Death

October 15, 2012 at 11:00PM View BBCode

The 4 teams come down the stretch playing for 3 playoff spots. NY, Buffalo and Phoenix play each other once each. Cincinnati is done with division games but faces division leaders Tampa, Tennessee and Baltimore before finishing with Atlanta.

I know we're just testing the mechanics and not necessarily playing it out but are you enjoying the 32-team format?

I like it. There is a lot more you have to keep track of and its interesting playing against so many additional teams.

Could we change the Attribute letters to numbers?

Seriously? What is the point of having the letter in football? None of us really has a clue as to how things work anyway, at least with numbers we have the ability to (sort of) determine which players are better than others. :)

I really should work on my "alternate letters" system, where each grade represents a 5-point spread and F is 40 and under.

Maybe there is an easy solution though: a "fuzzy numbers" setting, where each number is clipped to a multiple of 5. Thus, 80 = 80-84.9, 85=85-89.9, 90=90-94.9, etc.

Hm. I may make a separate post on that.

Why would you not want your beta group to use numbers?

pansies.

:saint:

I LOVE the large league format. Baseball needs it bad.

More variety. Regular season means more. More trade partners, more ways to find talent to improve your team. Of course the speed of Zeta impedes some of the transactions but at a game-a-day speed, it would be great.
