With 24 games yet to go you have already clinched a playoff birth. Wow!! Once again congrats! So far you have beaten every team head to head and outscored your opponents 758 to 515, a 243 run differential over 138 games. So basically you are scoring 5.5 runs a game while giving up 3.7, roughly a 1.8 runs a game ave. You are 2nd in hitting, 1st in pitching, and 2nd in fielding. I actually thought this would be a tougher year for us, with my top 2 pitchers from the past few seasons getting hit with and and falling drastically. But the younger pitchers have more than stepped up.
Our offense hasn't been as good as it has been over the past few years, but the pitching has made up for that.
And we are thrilled that top pitching prospect Paul Kahle has finally started improving. After going 0 for like 50 in rerates, he's hit on 3 of his last 5 chances in Control, and now looks to beady for our rotation next season (replacing Chara)
