Here is the tradeoffs.
If you use these menus, on some browsers, the top banner ad at times can show up in front of the menu.
If you don't use these menus, you should be okay with the ads but a few users have reported it won't work with their browser or firewall.
Please leave betauser set to use these menus as I want to invite the people that had problems to try it out.

There were a few people that reported the menus didn't work for them after the latest round of changes. I've added a feature under Edit Profile that says "Use Firewall Friendly Menus?". Couldn't think of a better name.Here is the tradeoffs.

The old menu and new menus don't work on this computer, so I have to go with the very old non-java script stuff on the left side.

Wasn't aware that we still didn't support one of the browsers. What system are you using? What browser?

it is a regular PC, internet explorer. It is probably something with the setting on the individual computer.
