Rand Lets Arm Speak for Him

The day after Millette pitched a no-hitter to tie Rand's record for career no-hitter's Gary scattered 7 hits over 9 shutout innings to get the Wilverines a rare win over the mighty Highlanders. This season the New Yorkers have owned the Washingtonittes winning 17 of 23 meetings. Rand said after the game "I was inspired by Millette's great pitching yesterday and wanted to give a respectable performance."
