I have played in several 3 season leagues, each time my team has two good seasons even gettin close to the world series. the 3rd season always seems mediochre even for the team(s) that win it all.
I dont expect to win every game every time, and thats why the play the game, anyone can win at any time. however, abe seems to "balance" out the teams so no one free 3 league team can dominate all 3 seasons.

This season it seems Texas and my team Seattle both are hovering towards onscurity lol, time to pick it up Texas i dont wanna leave you behind but i will. i manage the hell out of my team i try to stick with what i have, and play situational baseball ive got power but speed and bunting is rather poor...

This is a very competitive free league. You've done a nice job managing Seattle to an average of 51.5 wins in the first 2 seasons. All you can try to do in the free leagues is get into the playoffs. What has been really surprising is the AL teams keeping Washington out of the playoffs. COMPTONz has been around for a long time and has always fielded some great teams, but this 1950-52 cycle the AL teams have given him a hellova challenge. Seattle definitely deserves some credit for that.

That said, your team will need a miracle this season. SP Jerry Cheeks is a big reason for your success in previous years, and it looks like this season his stats will be pretty average. 2-time MVP Ripp Stoked has carried your offense in the past, but this season has slumped. 3 amazing seasons in a row almost never happens. Most of the time great players are only really great statistically for 1 season. Some are slightly above average all 3 seasons. I'd take 2 seasons like Ripp had followed by a crummy season. Problem is, the rest of your lineup is old and/or slumping badly. I would bench OF Otis. He is old and awful. Also, I would move the pitcher Moreno back to the starting rotation. His seemingly Ace ability would be better suited pitching more innings.

Good luck in the future. Hope you stick around for the next iteration of the GLL.

yes Compton has been a thorn in my side... hehe my lineup fluctuates they dont have a lot of stamina so i rotate in and out had to flounder off the waiver wire to fill some gaps. I like power pitching and bats swinging for the fences ill make a starter a long reliever when i have a full stable of hurlers.
I am a life long texas rangers fan. i seen nolan ryan pitch years ago. yankees beat him.
