this is only logical.
if a guy CAN play RT, then he can play anywhere on the OL if needed.

a players' BEST position should make him eligible at other positions in the same manner as his natural position i.e, if a FB has a best position of RT he is listed on the RT depth chart which should make him eligible for every other OL position where he has a 44+ rating.this is only logical.
if a guy CAN play RT, then he can play anywhere on the OL if needed.

The more realistic solution would be to remove the exception that allows him to play at RT in the first place and only show Best Role for eligible roles.

He can, if needed; the game will put him there if he is needed there. But you can't plan to put him there.The more realistic solution would be to remove the exception that allows him to play at RT in the first place and only show Best Role for eligible roles.
