in their best role field. I thought we eliminated this?

They can only play on the line at their "best role". It was pointed out that some players had best roles that they were not eligible to play. This is not logical so Chris allowed that those players would appear in the depth chart for their best role but not in similar roles i.e. a RB with best role of RT can't play elsewhere on the line regardless of whatever other attributes he may have.

Yes, I saw my guy way down the draft chart with that LT as best position and moved him up. He can't play RT or even go on the generic T depth chart.
