Epsilon startup

Epsilon should start playing games Monday morning.
We lost Fulla and The_Old_Bear this time out. Fulla stated he did not have time for Epsilon so please welcome smugpuppet in his place. We just haven't heard from The_Old_Bear so betauser is in that slot; if The_Old_Bear doesn't return I'll try to find a recruit for that slot.

Note that the biggest things we are testing in Epsilon are the changes to the player creation and improvement code. The goal is for the initial draft to more closely resemble a mature league, and to reduce inflation to a manageable level that will stabilize a few seasons out at most.
In prior drafts, most older players were very poor. In a real league, older players should generally be decent because if they weren't they would have likely retired before they became older players. The new code simulates this effect. Also, the distribution of IC's is now done by position using mature leagues as samples of how players are used and how IC's are distributed (there was a lot more randomness in the older code).
In my most recent tests on my home server, things still aren't 100% right but here's the pattern after 3 seasons:
QB: Stable
RB: Slight inflation
WR: Slight inflation
C: Stable
G: Large inflation
T: Stable
TE: Moderate inflation
DT: Moderate inflation
DE: Moderate inflation
LB: Large inflation
CB: Large inflation
S: Stable
K: Stable
P: Stable
