Trade Vote in the Buck Showalter League

The following trade is being voted on in the Buck Showalter League:<br /><br />A trade has been completed between the Arizona Iced Ts and the Detroit Dunkleosteus. The Detroit Dunkleosteus receive <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421542">Nelson Anderson</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421549">Hank Klimchock</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421387">Donnie Steenstra</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421528">Kris Waddey</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421424">Elmer Bates</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421687">Mike Veras</a>, Draft Pick - 1952 Round 2 (ARI), Draft Pick - 1952 Round 1 (ARI) from the Arizona Iced Ts in exchange for <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421801">Earl Manning</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421829">Lou Kinder</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421462">Cy Crawford</a>, <a target = "_blank" href = "http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9421709">Vive Look</a>. <br /><br />Please do not comment on this trade if you are in the league or have any other vested interest.

Detroit gets a B+/A+ B/A- OF (who will decline after the season), a B/A- RP (also in decline), an A+/A- A/A catcher (in decline), an A+/B A+/C IF (in decline), an A/A- A/B+ 2B, and a C+/A- B-/A 3B, a 2nd round pick (which won't give much in 1 year) and a 1st round pick (which could be a decent player but only 1 year worth so it'll have to be high). Its a lot of talent heading to Det although most is in decline that doesn't matter as much in a trail league. The OF, C, IF and 2B are all solid to star players and should bring good value in return so lets see what we have.
Arizona gets a B+/A- B/B- OF, a B/B+ B/B+ SS, an A/B+ A/B+ 3B, and a B+/B+ RP.
THis is one where if it were a speed league Arizona would have gotten the better of it by a lot. IN a trial league with smaller windows I'd say that Detroit probably gets a bit better. Its clearly better for Detroit this year. Next year it won't be as clear as the Arizona players improve and the detroit players decline. I'd say that Arizona has made a decision that they want to compete next year not this and that's an OK decision to make as an owner. I'd let it stand and see how it plays out.
