Prefered Speed for Leagues

What speed do you guys prefer in your leagues... I prefer 9-12. Moves fast enough to get through the rebuilds and slow enough to enjoy it

I play in several leagues. Most of them are 3/days which leaves me time to actually watch the games. I also have a 6 and a 9. I think if all the leagues were 9s, I would be involved in fewer leagues as it would be so much noise...

that was 9 games a day. it was great to move so fast and to rebuild. i would love if the jimmy wyn league had more games a day, but i have chosen to stick with one league through the good and bad. the jimmy wyn league was my first league. i joined it in the beginning, and have enjoyed this league. although sometimes a bit slow because its slow the players are more real to me. i dont manage my team with some spread sheet. so i do like what i percieve is a closer to real experience, and although this league may get dry from time to time ill usually end up getting a couple owners annoyed with me every few seasons, and that provides some excitiement. im commited to this league, and am not ready to start over again in a speed league. the quicker turn over is more exciting

i also like the faster leagues . 3 a day can leave for some long boring development through the course of a season . Kinda why i like trade action just to break the monotony.

i'm in two 3 a day leagues and two 9 a day leagues. i enjoy both for different reasons. as with nate, this was my first league. one of my major problems with the faster leagues is if i'm on vacation, or go away for a few days, or don't have access to a computer, way too much is missed. probably stay right where i'm at.postal99

Im just asking to see what kind of leagues everyone prefers, I'm still relatively new... just seeing what people like.

I have only played in 3 gpd leagues. I did start from the beginning in the Cool Papa Bell league and that has been nice.

i think that 3 days is nice you have time to invest yourself, and if its to slow you can make a lot of moves. to be honest i think thats the best way to go as the teams that dont make moves stay in the middle of the pack at best anyway. so if your in a league that moves to quick your probably prone to more stupid moves as an owner who makes you an offer will not let it sit out there because if it is fair at all his situation changes to quick. here if you want to try and develop your team strictly through the draft you can, and you have time to consider moves without allowing good moves to not make sense quickly.Pages: 1
