ok here's what we have here
Pittsburgh gets
Tony Spurgeon an OS29 RF with B+/A- B/A attributes. He's fairly done developing (may tick an improvement here or there but essentially done). He's a bit on the low side of things here. B+/A- guys don't tend to do a whole lot. THey can play but usually are best served as a 4th OF slot as there are almost always better options.
Jay Burkett an OS20 1B with B-/B- C-/C+ attributes. I like the balance. SHould become A/A B+/A in his prime and may tick into A+ in one or more of those attributes. He'll be a solid hitter, an all star and if he's on the high side, potentially an MVP. He'll need some luck but that's his up side. He will need to be developed of course and requires 5 CPs for the next 3-4 seasons and 500+ at bats after that.
In return Cleveland gets
Freddy Griffith an OS24 RF with C-/B- B-/B+ attributes. He's waiver wire fodder. He can top out in the C+/B+ B+/A- area at best
2nd round pick
The one advantage here for Cleveland is that they don't have to develop Griffith since he's 24. Of course there isn't any point since he's worthless anyway. THis is not a good deal. Its a top prospect for trash. I'd overturn.
