In the season opener in Minnesota, 22 year-old rookie pitcher [url=http://simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=9022816]Charlie Nielsen[/url] (2nd pick overall in 1988) throws 7 innings of shutout ball giving up 7 Hits while striking out 3 and walking none. Unfortunately for the rookie, the pitcher he supplanted from the rotation [url=http://simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=8175888]Adonis Terry[/url] gave up a run in his first inning of relief, thus blowing the save.
