Millette Flirts with 3rd No-Hitter

Opening Day, and Joe Millette carried a no-hitter into the 9th against the Highlanders regular season rival Wilverines, only to have it broken up by a leadoff double. An unearned run in the 4th resulted in a tired Millette exiting the game trailing 1-0, but a 2-out rally in the bottom of the 9th managed to tie the score and get Millette off the hook. Both teams bullpens matched the pitching of their starters, and it wasn't until the bottom of the 14th that this one was settled, with the Highlanders walking away with a 2-1 victory and a 14-inning two-hitter.
