Scrimmage header change
September 05, 2011 at 05:02AM View BBCode
The scrimmage header is the first line of each play that reads:
1st and 10 for the Corsairs, they line up in a Pro Set; the Zambonies line up in a 4-3.
This header will now include the word "huddle" which should make it more obvious that the time indicated on the play is before the huddle. In addition, the wording will indicate if the team is taking a long huddle, hurrying up, or skipping the huddle entirely.
This may open a can of worms, so not entirely sure if I'll leave this in or not.

(Note that the different huddle wordings will only appear in games going forward; games prior will just say "huddle".)

One odd thing I notice:
On a change of possession in the final two minutes, there's really no need for the team taking over to "hurry through the huddle" on 1st down. The clock is stopped.
