Maybe if I Beg?

I know i am like a broken record but I see this as a big issue.
I understand that there is some debate as to how you run your first half 2 min offense. Some guys go for it, other like to run the clock, but no one would run out the clock
and call time outs. I dont mind making a mistake, ie: throwing with the lead late on the half, but this is one that can cost you a game the way we have it now. If the defense wants to call timeouts in this spot, OK, but if the offense is calling timeouts then they are throwing.

Any coach not playing the Colorado Wolves would get fired. I agree 100%!
We'll have to write up some new logic for this I think.

That (obviously) was not directed at your Wolves, KLKRTR, but I was buggin over it for 3 hours knowing I was playing against someone who could take advantage of that kind of break. In these good leagues you have to limit the bad offfensive series´ and take advantage of field position.

I didn't take it as a shot against me--don't worry! I know that same situation has come up with me a few times.

My suggestion to try and fix the logic here a bit:
? When under 2 minutes left in the half, check if the team with the ball is winning, losing, or tied.
Losing
? If losing and past the __ yard line (new setting #1 on the 2 minute offense strategy page), run the 2-minute offense set by the owner. Use the time out strategies put in place by the owner on offense.
? If losing and not past the __ yard line (same as #1), use the Yellow Zone strategy. Use the time out strategies put in place by the owner on defense.
Tied
? If tied with the clock between 0 and __ minutes remaining (new setting #2 on the 2 minute offense strategy page), run the 2 minute offense if past the __ yard line (new setting on #3 the 2 minute offense strategy page). Use time out strategies put in place by the owner on offense.
? If tied with the clock between 0 and __ minutes remaining (same as #2), run down the clock if not past the __ yard line (same as #3). Defense calls time outs using defending owner's time out strategy.
Winning
? If winning with the clock between 0 and __ minutes remaining (new setting #4 on the 2 minute offense strategy page), run the 2 minute offense if past the __ yard line (new setting #5 on the 2 minute offense strategy page). Use time out strategies put in place by the owner on offense.
? If winning with the clock between 0 and __ minutes remaining (same as #4), run out the clock if not past the __ yard line (same as #5). Defense calls time outs using defending owner's time out strategy.

This isn't the most elegant solution, so any other suggestions would be great. Just something I figured I'd put together in 5 minutes while waiting for lunch to cook.
I was thinking of making a minimum time setting as well (instead of a default of 0 seconds left), but I thought that might be a bit too complicated (would require a few more settings to input and different strategies).
Basically, it would just be there to try and eliminate the major problems we've been having until a better solution could be found. I don't know what the logic reads as now, so I can't say if this example is better than what we have now. (For what it's worth, I don't even know if it's a feasible change as I'm no programmer!)
Thoughts?
