There have been no teams with multiple titles.
There have been two teams to make the playoffs twice: New England and Colorado.
There has been one team to make it to two Sim Bowls: Colorado, losing twice.
The new owners are entering the sites most active and competitive free league. Good luck to all in the draft and season!

yeah best of luck everyone and welcome to the new teams, ive decided to change my team to the 'Oakland Simpsonions' Bart Simpson headlining at QB and Comic Book Guy at OLB just to name a few.

Based on just this season and last, it seems overall talent is lower in the draft pool. Not an issue, but maybe we're utilizing a wider range of talent this year.

This year I'm going to draft players that fit into our system and not just base on talent, skill and ranking alone. I'm also aiming for a more all around team so I've adjusted my draft pref. Let's see how that turns out. :puzzled: Doing some experimenting with what I had success with in the past 3 seasons. 3 straight playoffs, 1 Title and 1 TD drive away from another bowl game last season. I guess I'm fixing something that's not completely broke. :lol: Good Luck to everyone in the draft, since this is where Championships are mostly won.[Edited on 6-14-2011 by sunoac]

I'm not happy with where I ended up in the draft order of things. I tried an experiment with my passing game: draft 16th at QB and WR and don't pass much! But looking at where I am in the other drafted positions, it doesn't look like it helped me that much.

my team is going to suck. looks like i'll need to completely re-think my strategy on offense and defence. other than that, i don't think we'll need to change anything.

I attempted a variation of Hammy's strategy. I went for a low pick on QB (15th) and spread out the other picks (for an average of 6th pick). I then weighted the picks on the non QB positions, giving more weight to the positions with the least available talent (thus I got 1st pick in Safety). I guess it worked as planned, since I have no gaping holes, but also no major strengths. I'll probably lose every game :)!

I initially thought all the teams were less talented on average than last year. My 1963 team would certainly kill my 1964 team. I felt like the overall talent was lower at the skill positions this year.Then I went back and checked, and it is about the same. Just observation bias I suppose. There were a few more top QB, FB and DE last year. There are more top LB and HB this year.

i have never seen such a sorry-assed group of DE's in my life. not even on the expansion tampa bay bucs.

The expansion Bucs had a pair of plausibly playable DE's, if I remember correctly. (I was born in '84 though, so I don't much remember that '76 squad.) Still, they had to have been better than some of this nonsense.

i thought about coming up with a name change theme of my own, but then i saw that our starting qb is named Latham Smoot. i just couldn't do it.[Edited on 6-15-2011 by dirtdevil]
