After 3 quarters:
Dallas dominates 20-3 over Baltimore.
Colorado trails Houston by a TD (10-17)
Calgary 6, Oakland 10, the Hitmen have been running the ball well but don't have much to show for it.
San Fran is losing the California showdown iwth Sacramento by 8 (13-21).
Green Bay has been generous to the Food and is losing 7-20.
Birmingham put on a strong 3rd quarter and leads 13-10 over Los Angeles.
Chicago is up 21-16 in a crazy game that saw a lot of 1st half scoring and none yet in the 2nd half.

after 4:
DAL beats up on BAL 34-6. a weird game in which BAL actually outgained DAL 314-303. neither team was sacked on intercepted. two fumbles led to DAL TD's, but still.
HAM knocks off GB 30-14. the playoff push continues.
HOU 20 COL 16. hou seems to find a way to win close games.
the rams get win number 2 over birmingham 24-16
OAK nips CAL 17-11.
CHI outlasts PHI 28-26. so much for the 2-win forecast.
SF and SAC are headed to OT tied at 24.
TOL blows out NE 44-14. wow toledo won. yawn.

Yeah...Houston found a way to win a close game alright...
Colorado was down 10-17 going into the fourth quarter, like Hamilton said earlier.
Ok, big deal, not really. Colorado can pull this comeback off in their sleep.
Colorado goes down and scores their TD. Tie game. Right? Wrong.
Colorado's kicker misses the extra point....meaning Colorado is down 16-17.
Houston continues trying to run out the clock, gets into FG range, kicks another FG. 16-20.
Now I'm unhappy. There are under 2 minutes left. Colorado gets into FG range easily, but has their last pass knocked down in the end zone. Colorado has found ways all season long to lose close games.....6-5 on the season now.
Of the 5 losses on the season, only Toledo won by more than a TD. They were also the only team to score more than 21 against us. They dominated, 22-7.
The other 4 losses: by 3 (Birmingham); by 7 (Green Bay); by 4 (Philadelphia); by 4 (Houston)
I'm rivaling Dallas...
4 losses, by 3, 7, 10, and 3.
And did I mention that Colorado fumbled away the ball on the opening drive to give Houston a 7-pt lead early? :(
