Welcome to the team Rich. You are a student of the game and will be a fine addition.

Welcome to the team!
Now if only I had remembered to set my draft settings..not a single player in the red..
Also, Rich, make sure to set the league to numbers. Ask if you don't know how.
And also...I know someone brought up something about there being fewer tipped passes...just looked it up in Beta for 1966 and 1965 (only seasons in which defensive stats are available), and here are the results:
1966: 343 Def, 172 Brk, 171 Int
1965: 366 Def, 173 Brk, 193 Int
Significant difference? I'd venture to say yes..
In case you were wondering about the passing stats in those seasons:
1966: 7835 Att, 60.3%, 81.2 Rating
1965: 7872 Att, 58.1%, 77.1 Rating

Thanks guys, day 1 and I seem to be getting used to the number system. I see the "the defense is keyed in¨which is new to me. Anything else I need to watch for?

Defense being "Keyed In" refers to an offense overusing a certain length pass play in a particular quarter. The Def learns from it and a big play becomes more likely.
The certain length play is any of the long passes, med passes or short pass that are used to much. Play action & screen do not account for the above listed length.
Did I answer that right?
