What a disappointment

April 26, 2011 at 07:36PM View BBCode

This season may have broke my heart more than any other. My team won 120 games, 11 more than any other and 19 more than anyone in my league and then loses two starters right before the playoffs and gets swept out of the playoffs. My pitching staff which had dominated all year could not get out of the 1st inning and my batters were DOA.

So for each of the last five seasons my team has had the best record in the entire league and all I have to show for it is one league championship. Totally disheartening.

Congrats once again to the Predators.

Here's an attempt to make you feel better...not to 'one-up' you.....

2019 - 2017 9 seasons

my team averaged over 104 wins per season including a year where I went 125-37!!!

I won ZERO championships.

6 playoffs in 9 years with 4 trips to the big dance including a stretch in which I lost 3 straight WS.

There is alot more to this franchise since i took ownership in 2006.....look at my owners card....crazy. 9 playoffs in 18 seasons.....6 ws trips....1 win.

At least I finally got that one win.....that was huge. It felt sooo good. LOL

Anyway.....good luck Milwalkee....I feel ya.

I just wanna add....
I don't fancy myself as some kind of great player of this game.....I did however set up an awesome expansion draft that pretty much set me up for a good 13 year run.....the last few seasons abe was nice enough to bestow a championship upon me....I really wasnt expecting it.

ya never know

I hear you Devils and feel your pain. I was just looking at the past standings because I thought your team has been there (playoffs) a lot and sure enough your team has been there 6 years in a row (very good accomplishment) and I too was surprised your team had never won one. But keep plugging because you never know. Look at my team last season in which I never expected to win and came back from being down 3 to 1 to you and down 3 to 0 to Tampa and still came back to win. It just goes to show anyone can win these things. cheers
