OK I admit it's easier to set your defense when you know the team doesn't run the ball still I think our effort was solid .
Arizona had come into the game averaging 25.4 points per game, and 453 yards in offense in the regular season and were 4-1 with their only loss to the Max Blitz Wolverines.
I used a defensive strategy combining roughly an even split of shallow zone and man to man coverages with 35-40 % blitzing in each scenario. The results were, I think, pretty impressive . Arizona were limited to a single touchdown and their worst offensive showing of the year 277 yards passing on 17/63 with 4 interceptions . The net passing yardage was 199 yards as we sacked Arizona 12 times for 78 yards of losses, and a safety, and forced a pair of fumbles.
An interesting thing I hadn't noticed before: How is the calculation for "Total Net Yards" calculated ?
Arizona had 199 net passing yards and 5 yards rushing yet their "total net yards" is 251 . New Orleans had 210 yards rushing and 15 yards passing yet show total net of 280 yards.
