Overtime kick

13:15 of this game in overtime.
1st and 10 for the Leprechauns, they line up in a Field Goal/PAT; the Enway line up in a Field Goal/PAT Block.
Scott Endress prepares to attempt a field goal for Boston, Joe Atkins holding.
Kick is into the wind; Atkins's hold is good.
The 45-yard field goal attempt by Scott Endress is no good (wide left).
------------
I lost the game when my QB threw an interception with about a minute left. :(
Seriously though, shouldn't we at least run the ball three times to advance the ball? Especially when my kicker's longest kick
ever is 46 yards? (Man, do I regret not spending on a kicker. He's literally cost me at least 3 games)

During overtime, on any down, if within 30 yards of the goal line and the estimated chance of making a field goal is at least 30 %, attempt a field goal
I see what you mean, though I'm not sure I'm too happy with that setting. Of course I want to have them kick from there rather than punt/go for it when it's 4th down. I just don't want them to do it on first down.
The way I read the option, if I up the percentages or lower the yards, they won't kick from that far even if it was 4th down.
Or am I completely mistaken?

All of the regular game settings such as your 4th Down Situations settings still apply; the "kick on any down" is an additional setting that only applies in overtime. Any settings that are worded as "time remaining in the game" will apply when that time is reached in the overtime period.
