In the National Conference, East Division, New York and Hamilton tied at 9-7 for the division lead.
In the season series, which was split (1-1), NY won 38-13 at home and Hamilton won 28-7 at home.
Because of the way the tie-breaker is currently calculated, New York gets the playoff berth because of margin of victory in head-to-head games. However, because of the automatic substitution rule in the 4th quarter, the Hamilton team, which was up 28-0 entering the 4th quarter, played their backups for the entire 4th quarter, even though we knew that we had to win by a margin of greater than 25 points to secure the tie-breaker for ourselves.
Can you please make the auto-substitution an option for us? Or at least let us determine the point total to start using it or something.
