I know you are working on "bugs". I as well as many others I'm sure. was wondering? Any updates, more specific dates. Should we start getting leagues together??

I think it's worth waiting a couple weeks until more of the advanced features can be added as well as fixing the bugs. I don't think people will be happy paying for leagues while the game engine is still under modification, plus with no individual stats, continued confusion over injuries, concerns about unstoppable passing, etc.

The game is great, but it needs a little time before charging for it. Expectations for a pay game are much higher, and judging by the complaints for the free version, Chris would be wise to hold off until a great many of these little things are working the way he wants them to.

I agree it will be nice to have things a little more polished.
IMO - single seasons are not as much fun. The fun is building and watching your players grow.

The time will come sooner than later - I'm just ready to start building.

Yes, this is the situation right now. No matter how much you test, there are some things that just don't show up until you start throwing real traffic at it, players who push boundaries, etc. Plus, football being what it is, there are some situations that are rare enouigh to just not come up in testing much, but happen all the time when you are simming about 300 quarters a day, as we are now. We appreciate everyone's patience as we get these things smoothed out.

Getting multi-season leagues up and running is definately a priority, but I still have a few items on the bug list that I was unable to address in the last update. We will be announcing a schedule for multi-league signups soon!

might you try a multi-season trial league, like baseball, so we can see how the offseason works?

Probably not in the near future. The database requirements for multi-season leagues are much heavier than single season leagues, and 90% of that data will never actually get used, as draft classes come into the system as college freshment and improve and grow for four seasons before their draft date comes up.

I am brainstorming for alternative ways to give people an opportunity to try out multi-season in some fashion, perhaps through mini-dynasties that you have to earn a spot in through winning at single season or some sort of tournament format or something else altogether.
