Spiking the Ball?!?

Um...there seems to be no option to spike/down the ball as time is expiring...there was 23 seconds left in my game, i pass to the 2 yd line, and time expires before the next play is off? EXTREMELY unrealistic...as the play prior had the clock stopped, and the pass was only for 15 yards...there's NO WAY a team wouldn't be able to spike the ball for one final play...PLEASE FIX THIS!
